Authentic Suzhou quality
Reminds me of the pigments my grandfather used. The texture is fine, and the colors remain bright even after drying. The wooden box packaging is also very elegant.

Good pigment, slow shipping
The product itself is fantastic with rich color payoff. My only complaint is that the international shipping took longer than anticipated. The pigments arrived safely though.

Exceeded expectations

Great value for beginners
As someone new to Chinese painting, this set was very forgiving. The colors mix well, though the blue shade required a bit more grinding than expected. Overall, a solid purchase.

Perfect for traditional Gongbi work

Beautiful landscape hues
I use these primarily for landscape painting. The earth tones and greens are particularly stunning. They activate quickly with just a few drops of water.

A: Keep the box tightly closed when not in use. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If a cake dries out completely, simply soak it in water for a few minutes to reactivate.
Q: Do these pigments need to be ground before use?
A: Yes, these are solid cakes. You should add a small amount of water to the surface and gently grind with a brush to activate the pigment before painting.
Q: Is the 12-color set sufficient for landscape painting?
A: The 12-color set includes essential earth tones and primary colors suitable for basic landscapes. However, for more complex scenes with varied foliage, the 18 or 24-color sets offer better versatility.
Q: Are these pigments safe for children to use?
