Elegant and functional
Not only does this brush perform wonderfully, but it also looks stunning on my desk. The combination of bamboo and horn gives it a premium feel. The goat hair is incredibly soft yet resilient.

Good value for professionals
I've used more expensive brushes that didn't perform as well as this one. The ink flow is smooth, and the fine point makes detailed work easy. Only minor issue is the ferrule could be slightly tighter.

Great quality, needed breaking in
Beautiful craftsmanship and the horn accent on the handle is a nice touch. The bristles were a bit stiff out of the package but softened up perfectly after the first wash. Highly recommend for intermediate to advanced users.

Q: What type of ink works best with this goat hair brush?
A: This brush works excellently with traditional stick ink ground on an inkstone as well as high-quality liquid sumi ink. Avoid overly thick or acrylic-based inks as they may damage the delicate goat hair bristles.
Q: Is this brush suitable for beginners?
A: While designed for professionals, dedicated beginners can certainly use it. However, due to the extra-fine soft tip, it requires some control to master. We recommend starting with slightly larger brushes if you are completely new to calligraphy.
Q: How should I clean this brush after use?
A: Gently rinse the bristles under lukewarm running water until the water runs clear. Do not soak the handle or the ferrule. Reshape the tip and hang the brush upside down to air dry completely before storing.
