Good speaker, setup took time
The audio quality is decent, but I had some trouble connecting it to my 5GHz Wi-Fi network initially. Turns out it only supports 2.4GHz. Once connected, it works fine.

Cute design and loud volume
I bought this for my bedside table. It looks very minimalist and clean. The volume gets much louder than I expected without distorting. Highly recommend for small rooms.

Solid performance
Does exactly what it says on the box. Bass is a bit light, which is expected for this size, but mids and highs are clear. Great for podcasts and audiobooks.

Great value but limited English support
Hardware is solid and the Bluetooth connection is stable. However, if you don't speak Chinese, some of the advanced XiaoAi features might be hard to utilize fully. Still a great buy for the price.

Best budget smart speaker
For the price, you cannot beat this. It integrates well with my other Xiaomi smart home devices. Voice recognition is accurate even when music is playing.

Perfect for my kitchen
This little speaker is amazing. The sound quality is surprisingly good for its size, and setting up the voice control was incredibly easy. I use it daily for timers and music while cooking.

A: Yes, certain firmware versions allow you to pair two identical XiaoAi Speaker Play units to create a stereo left-right channel setup via the Mi Home app.
Q: Does this speaker support Spotify Connect?
A: Currently, the XiaoAi Speaker Play primarily supports Bluetooth streaming and internal media services. Direct Spotify Connect integration may vary by region and firmware version.
Q: What languages does the voice assistant support?
A: The XiaoAi voice assistant is optimized for Mandarin Chinese. While basic Bluetooth functions work with any language, complex voice commands are best performed in Chinese.
Q: Is there a battery inside or does it need to be plugged in?
