Sturdy and discreet

I used these to repair an old wooden cabinet corner. They are strong enough to hold the joint tight and the matte black makes them almost invisible against the dark wood.

Essential for frame makers

Works well but screws sold separately

The plates themselves are fine, but I was disappointed that no screws were included. Had to run to the hardware store to find matching black screws which delayed my project.

Good value, minor finish inconsistency

Overall a great product for the price. One or two plates had a tiny scratch on the coating, but it doesn't affect functionality. They hold the backboards securely.

Perfect for custom framing projects

Q: Can I bend these plates if I need a different angle?

A: These are made of cold-rolled steel and are designed to remain straight. Attempting to bend them may crack the powder coating or weaken the structural integrity. We suggest purchasing our L-brackets if you need angled support.

Q: Can these be used outdoors?

A: While the powder-coated finish offers good corrosion resistance, these plates are primarily designed for indoor use. Prolonged exposure to rain or direct sunlight may eventually degrade the coating.

Q: Are these plates pre-drilled?

A: Yes, each plate comes with two pre-drilled holes to facilitate easy and accurate installation into your frame or furniture piece.

Q: What size screws are recommended for these plates?

A: We recommend using #6 or #8 flat-head wood screws, approximately 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch in length, depending on the thickness of your frame material.

Q: Will the black color rub off on white matting?

A: No, the powder-coated finish is cured and stable. It will not transfer color to your matting or artwork under normal conditions.
