Requires specific strings
The bow itself is well-made, but be aware that it works best with wound strings. On my nylon high-E string, it sometimes produces a scratching sound rather than a smooth tone. Still a fun creative tool though.

Great for experimental music
As a classical guitarist looking to expand my repertoire, this tool is fantastic. It takes some practice to get the angle right without hitting adjacent strings, but the resulting tone is ethereal. Deducting one star because the case feels a bit flimsy.

Unlocks a completely new sound
