Lovely travel companion
Because of the slightly reduced body depth compared to a standard acoustic, this fits perfectly in my car's back seat for road trips. It stays in tune well and sounds full enough for campfire sessions.

Best purchase of the year
The craftsmanship is impeccable. No sharp fret ends, the action was set perfectly out of the box, and the burst finish looks stunning in person. It inspires me to practice more just by looking at it.

Perfect size for smaller players
I have smaller hands and often struggle with dreadnoughts. This alto body shape is incredibly comfortable to hold and play. The solid spruce top gives it a surprisingly loud and clear projection despite the smaller size.

Great tone, beautiful wood grain
The rosewood back and sides provide a warm, rich low end that balances well with the bright spruce top. The open pore finish feels great under the hand. Only giving 4 stars because the factory strings were a bit stiff, but that's an easy fix.

Excellent stage guitar
Used this for three gigs last week. The onboard preamp is intuitive and the built-in tuner is accurate. It cuts through the mix nicely without feeding back even at higher volumes. Highly recommended for performing musicians.

Solid wood at this price point?
I was skeptical about getting a solid top and solid back/sides guitar in this price range, but Ibanez delivered. The resonance is fantastic and it seems to be opening up nicely after a few weeks of playing.
