Nice for poetry
Used this to write out some Tang dynasty poems. The layout looks very professional once framed. Ink dries quickly.
Q: Can I use this for Chinese watercolor painting as well?
A: While primarily designed for calligraphy, light washes of watercolor can be used, but heavy saturation may cause warping.
Q: Does the ink bleed through to the other side?
A: Due to the semi-processed treatment, there is minimal bleed-through, but we recommend placing a blotter sheet underneath for heavy ink applications.
Q: Is this paper suitable for liquid ink or only ink sticks?
A: This semi-processed Xuan paper works well with both liquid bottle ink and traditional ground ink stick ink.
Q: What is the exact size of each sheet?
A: Each loose sheet measures approximately 24cm x 34cm, standard for Huanhua letter paper formats.
Q: Are the vertical lines printed in red or black?
A: The vertical guide lines are printed in a faint red color to assist with alignment without distracting from the black ink characters.
