Best markers for daily classroom use
I teach high school math and go through markers quickly. These PILOT markers last significantly longer than other brands I've tried. The ink flows smoothly without skipping, and erasing is clean with no ghosting on our whiteboards.

No more ghosting!

Solid performer

Smooth writing, slight odor
These write incredibly well and the large capacity means I don't have to swap them out often. The only reason for 4 stars is the typical alcohol smell when first uncapped, but it dissipates quickly.

Great value with replaceable cores
The ability to replace the core instead of throwing away the whole pen is a game changer for our office budget. The black ink is deep and bold, making it easy to read from the back of the conference room.
Q: How long does the ink last if left uncapped accidentally?
A: While we always recommend capping immediately, the large capacity and specialized valve system allow the marker to recover and function normally even if left uncapped for several hours.

A: The ink is non-toxic and conforms to standard safety regulations for school supplies. However, as with all stationery, it should be used under adult supervision for young children.
