Perfect replacement for my Vyper
My original hotend started clogging frequently after a year of use. This kit was a direct fit for my Anycubic Vyper. Installation took about 15 minutes, and the print quality is back to perfect. Highly recommended for anyone needing an upgrade or replacement.

Excellent value for money

Solved my under-extrusion issues
I was struggling with inconsistent extrusion on my Chiron. Swapping to this E3D V5 style assembly completely fixed the problem. The thermal stability is excellent, and I haven't had a single clog since installation.

Works well but tricky for beginners
The part itself works great now that it is installed. However, as a beginner, I found wiring the thermistor and heater cartridge a bit intimidating. Make sure to watch a tutorial video before attempting this swap.

Solid upgrade
Upgraded from the stock unit to this one. The heat distribution seems more consistent, allowing me to print PETG at higher speeds without issues. The fan could be slightly more powerful, but it gets the job done.

Good quality, fast shipping
The build quality feels solid. The brass nozzle heats up evenly, and the fan is surprisingly quiet. I deducted one star because the instructions were a bit vague, but if you have done this before, it's very straightforward.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my printer after installation?
A: Yes, it is highly recommended to perform a bed leveling and Z-offset calibration after replacing the hotend assembly to ensure the first layer adhesion is perfect.
Q: Can I use this with abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber?
A: While the assembly works mechanically, the included brass nozzle is not suitable for abrasive filaments. For Carbon Fiber or Glow-in-the-dark materials, we recommend purchasing a hardened steel nozzle separately and installing it into this hotend.
Q: Does this come with a 0.6mm nozzle installed?
A: The unit comes pre-installed with a standard 0.4mm brass nozzle. However, the package includes a spare nozzle, and the design supports easy swapping to 0.2mm, 0.6mm, or 0.8mm nozzles which can be purchased separately.
Q: Is this compatible with the Anycubic Kobra series?
A: No, this specific assembly is designed exclusively for the Anycubic Vyper and Chiron models. The mounting points and wiring harness differ for the Kobra series.
Q: What is the length of the thermistor wires?
A: The thermistor and heater cartridge wires are approximately 30cm long, which matches the original factory specifications for the Vyper and Chiron to ensure safe routing within the cable chain.
