Q: Are these washers suitable for outdoor use in direct sunlight?

A: While nylon has good weather resistance, prolonged exposure to direct UV sunlight may cause brittleness over time. For permanent outdoor use, we recommend applying a UV protectant or using our specialized UV-stabilized series.

A: The standard thickness for our M5 nylon flat washers is approximately 1.0mm. Please note that slight variations of +/- 0.1mm may occur due to manufacturing tolerances inherent to plastic molding.

A: Nylon 66 generally has poor resistance to strong solvents and certain hydraulic fluids like brake fluid. We do not recommend using these specific washers in direct contact with brake fluid systems.
