Surprisingly loud and deep
Don't let the 'small' description fool you. The 14-inch version projects sound across the entire hall. Free shipping was a huge bonus given the weight of the item.

Excellent starter drum
Bought this for my daughter who is just starting percussion. The 8-inch size is perfect for her hands, and the included sticks are decent quality too.

Great craftsmanship
The wood carving on the 12-inch drum is beautiful. It took a little time to adjust the ropes to get the pitch I wanted, but once tuned, it sounds amazing for our dance group.

Good value for money
Solid construction and authentic look. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the carrying strap felt a bit thin, but the drum itself is fantastic.
