Good for educational kits

Easy integration with Arduino
Connected this to my Arduino Uno without any issues. The UART communication is stable, and the ability to train it to recognize specific phrases like 'Open Gate' or 'Start Motor' is exactly what I needed for my automation setup.
Q: Does this module support connecting to an external speaker for voice feedback?
A: No, this module is designed for speech recognition only (input). It does not have Text-to-Speech (TTS) capabilities or an audio output pin for speakers.
Q: Can the module distinguish between different speakers?
A: No, the ASR-PRO performs command recognition based on phonetic patterns, not speaker verification. It will respond to the commanded phrase regardless of who speaks it.
Q: Can I add new voice commands after the initial setup without reflashing firmware?
A: Yes, you can add or modify voice commands at any time using the web-based configuration tool. Changes are saved directly to the module's memory instantly.
Q: What is the maximum distance for effective voice recognition?
A: Under normal indoor conditions with moderate noise, the effective range is approximately 3 to 5 meters. Using an external high-sensitivity microphone can extend this range.
Q: Is there a library available for ESP32 integration?
A: While we do not provide an official dedicated library, the module communicates via standard UART. Many users have successfully integrated it with ESP32 using standard Serial libraries available in the Arduino IDE.
