Solid training tool
Easy to slide on and off. The non-slip texture is a nice touch. It has definitely helped stabilize my child's bow hold during lessons.

Perfect for my 6-year-old!
My daughter struggled with her pinky placement until we got this fish tail trainer. The colorful design makes practice fun, and she actually wants to use it now.

Great visual aid
The cartoon shape really helps visualize where the fingers should go. It fits snugly on my student's bow. Only wish it came in a two-pack.

Solved our grip issues
As a violin teacher, I recommend these to all my young beginners. The silicone is soft enough not to damage the bow stick but firm enough to provide guidance.

Good but slightly bulky
It works well for correcting posture, but it feels a bit thick on smaller fractional size bows. Great for full size though.

Cute and functional
The fish tail design is adorable. My son loves the bright colors, and his teacher noticed an immediate improvement in his hand position.
Q: How exactly does the fish tail help with the pinky?
A: The curved 'tail' section provides a physical rest and visual cue for the pinky finger, encouraging the natural curved shape required for proper bow control.
Q: Will this fit on a 1/4 size violin bow?
A: Yes, the universal design is flexible enough to accommodate fractional sizes ranging from 1/4 up to 4/4 full-size bows.
Q: Does the color fade after washing?
A: The colors are embedded in the silicone and are generally resistant to fading. You can clean it with mild soap and water without worrying about the design rubbing off.
Q: Is the material safe for children who might put it in their mouth?
A: While the silicone is non-toxic and safe to touch, this product is a musical accessory and should be used under adult supervision to prevent choking hazards.
Q: Can I leave this on the bow permanently?
A: You can leave it on during practice sessions, but we recommend removing it when storing the bow in a tight case to prevent unnecessary pressure on the bow stick over long periods.
