Good weight and balance
The weight feels authentic, not too light like some cheap bows. The straight stick helps with bow control exercises. The only minor issue is the case could be slightly more padded, but the bow itself is great.

Teacher approved!

Great upgrade from rental
We decided to buy a bow instead of renting. This Qingge G100 offers excellent craftsmanship. The ebony frog looks elegant, and the nickel silver details add a nice touch. Very happy with this purchase.

Perfect starter bow for my daughter

Solid quality for beginners
I bought this as a backup bow for my student. The red sandalwood feels sturdy, and the balance is decent. It produces a clear tone without too much effort. Would recommend for anyone starting out.

A: This bow is designed primarily for full-size (4/4) violins. While it can physically be used on a 3/4 instrument, we recommend selecting a bow specifically sized for 3/4 violins to ensure proper balance and handling for the player.
Q: Does the bow come pre-rosined?
A: The bow comes with a cake of rosin included in the package, but the horsehair is not pre-rosined. You will need to apply rosin to the hair before your first use to produce sound effectively.
Q: How often should I rehair this bow?
A: For regular practice, we recommend rehairing your bow every 6 to 12 months, or when the hair becomes thin, dirty, or loses its grip. Since this uses genuine Mongolian horsehair, it responds well to professional rehairing services.
Q: What is the difference between straight and octagonal sticks?
A: Straight round sticks are often recommended for beginners as they provide a consistent feel and help develop even bow distribution. Octagonal sticks are traditionally preferred by advanced players for specific tonal characteristics, but both shapes work well for learning.
