Good quality, nice aesthetic
The craftsmanship is solid for the price point. The horsehair was well-applied and held rosin nicely. I deducted one star only because the screw mechanism was a bit stiff at first, but it loosened up after a few uses.

Perfect upgrade from carbon fiber
My son needed a step up from his rental bow. This CHRISTINA G29 offers a warmer tone that really helps his music sound more mature. The grip is comfortable and the weight feels authentic.

Solid intermediate choice
Great response on the strings. The white horsehair grabs well, making spiccato exercises easier for my students. The finish on the green wood is smooth and durable.

Beautiful green hue

Excellent value for a student bow
I bought this for my daughter who is just starting out. The green sandalwood looks beautiful and unique. It produces a clear tone and feels balanced in the hand. Much better than the cheap fiberglass bows we tried before.

Decent but needs setup
The bow arrived slightly warped, which is common with wood in different climates. After letting it acclimate and adjusting the hair tension, it plays much better. Just be prepared to do some minor tweaking upon arrival.

Q: Can I rehair this bow myself?
A: While it is possible for experienced players to rehair their own bows, we recommend taking it to a professional luthier for the best results. Improper rehiring can damage the tip or frog.

A: Always loosen the hair after playing to relieve tension on the stick. Wipe the stick with a soft, dry cloth to remove rosin dust and oils from your hands. Avoid exposing it to extreme heat or humidity.
