Excellent bow for the price

This Christina bow exceeded my expectations. The balance is perfect, and the Brazilian rosewood feels substantial in the hand. It produces a warm tone on my student violin.

Perfect for classical repertoire

Great upgrade from carbon fiber

Switched from a cheap carbon fiber bow to this one. The response is much more nuanced. The only reason for 4 stars is that it needed a slight rehair upon arrival, but otherwise solid.

Beautiful craftsmanship

The ebony frog is beautifully fitted with no gaps. The round stick provides great flexibility for spiccato. Highly recommend for intermediate players looking for a wood bow.

A: Generally, we recommend rehiring every 6 to 12 months depending on usage frequency. If the hair loses its grip or breaks frequently, it is time for a rehair.

Q: Is the stick straight or cambered?

A: Like all quality violin bows, the G01 features a carefully crafted camber (curve) inward toward the hair to provide the necessary tension and spring when tightened.

Q: Does the bow come with a case?

A: The bow is shipped in a protective tube for safety during transit, but a hard case is not included. Cases can be purchased separately from our accessories section.

Q: Is this bow suitable for a 3/4 size violin?

A: This bow is designed specifically for 4/4 full-size violins. Using it on a 3/4 instrument may affect balance and playability. We recommend checking our 3/4 specific models for smaller violins.
