Perfect size for adults

The 15.5 inch body is comfortable to hold but still provides that full viola sound. The ebony fittings are smooth and the pegs turn easily.

Rich lower register

The C-string on this 15.5 inch model is incredibly rich and deep. It responds quickly to bow changes and has a complex overtone series that I love.

Beautiful tone for the price

I was looking for an upgrade from my student viola and this instrument exceeded my expectations. The European spruce top gives it a very warm, resonant sound that projects well in our chamber group.

Stunning craftsmanship

You can tell this is made with traditional methods. The varnish is thin and allows the wood to breathe, and the grain on the maple back is gorgeous.

Great project instrument

The wood quality is excellent, but it arrived needing a proper setup. Once I had my luthier fit the bridge and adjust the soundpost, it plays like a much more expensive viola.

Good value, needs strings

Solid construction and nice aesthetics. I immediately swapped the factory strings for some Dominants, and now it sounds fantastic. Highly recommend for intermediate players.
