Great sound, heavy case
The instrument itself plays beautifully with excellent projection when amplified. My only minor complaint is that the included hard case is quite heavy to carry around for long gigs.

Solid choice for students and pros
Bought this for my advanced student who needed to play in a rock band. The pickup system handles effects pedals very well. Deducted one star because the bow hair needed tightening immediately upon arrival.

Beautiful craftsmanship
You can tell this is handcrafted. The flamed maple on the back is gorgeous, and the oil varnish allows the wood to breathe. It sounds acoustic when played softly and powerful when plugged in.
