Great quality, tight fit
Excellent materials and the pots feel smooth. The plate was a very snug fit for my router template, so be prepared to sand slightly if your cavity isn't exact.

Solid component
Good value for the price. The carving details are nice without being too flashy. Instructions could be more detailed for beginners.

Exceeded expectations
I was worried about the electronics quality, but the potentiometers are top-notch. The wood feels substantial and looks vintage.

Perfect upgrade
Swapped out my plastic plate for this carved wood one and it completely changed the look of my guitar. The wiring is clean and noise-free.

Professional result
This kit made my DIY guitar build look like a professional shop job. The cloth-covered wire is a nice touch for authenticity.
Q: Can I return this if I mess up the soldering?
A: Once the electronics have been soldered or installed, the item cannot be returned due to hygiene and safety regulations, unless it arrived defective.
Q: Is the wood treated to prevent warping?
A: Yes, the walnut is kiln-dried and sealed with a hand-rubbed oil finish to protect against moisture and warping.
Q: What type of solder do you recommend for installation?
A: We recommend using a rosin-core solder with a 60/40 tin-lead ratio or a lead-free alternative suitable for electronics.
Q: Does this kit include the knobs themselves?
A: No, this kit includes the carved wood plate and the internal wiring components (pots, jack, wire), but control knobs are sold separately.
Q: Will this fit a standard Squier Telecaster?
A: Yes, the dimensions are designed to match standard Telecaster-style control cavities found on most major brands including Squier.
