Perfect upgrade for high-temp printing
Switched from the standard brass throat to this all-metal version and immediately noticed better performance with ABS and Nylon. No more clogs at higher temperatures.

Consistent extrusion
Great thermal barrier properties. My temperature readings are more stable now, and I get consistent extrusion even during long prints. Highly recommended.

Good quality but requires tuning
The build quality is excellent, very smooth threads. However, I had to re-level my bed and adjust retraction settings slightly after installation. Works great now.

Essential for engineering filaments
If you are printing with Polycarbonate or Carbon Fiber filled filaments, this is a must-have. The stainless steel holds up perfectly against abrasive materials.

Decent but tight fit
The tube itself seems durable, but the threading was a bit tight on my clone V6 hotend. Had to use a tap to clean the threads before it screwed in smoothly.

Q: Does this come with a PTFE liner inside?
A: No, this is an all-metal throat tube designed specifically to eliminate PTFE liners, allowing for higher temperature printing without degradation.
Q: Do I need to change my nozzle when installing this?
A: No, you can continue using your existing nozzles. This part replaces only the throat tube (heat break) inside the hotend assembly.
