Saved my printer

Excellent thermal performance

Upgraded from a generic brass block to this aluminum one. The heat retention is noticeably better, especially when printing ABS. The silicone sock fits snugly.

Solid upgrade

Works well for high-temperature filaments. The blue color makes it easy to distinguish from my other hotend parts. Would recommend checking your specific hotend version before buying.

Good quality, fast shipping

Solid aluminum construction. It heated up evenly during my test prints. I deducted one star only because the threads were slightly tight at first, but they loosened up after a few uses.

Perfect replacement part

This heating block fits my E3D V6 clone perfectly. The machining is precise and the blue anodizing looks great. The silicone sleeve is a nice bonus for maintaining consistent temperatures.

Q: Are the heater and thermistor holes threaded?

A: No, the holes for the heater cartridge and thermistor are smooth bores, secured typically by grub screws on the hotend assembly.

Q: Can this handle PLA and PETG printing temperatures?

A: Absolutely. Aluminum provides excellent heat distribution for PLA, PETG, ABS, and even higher temperature materials like Polycarbonate.

Q: What is the inner diameter of the filament channel?

A: The filament channel is designed for standard 1.75mm filament, with a tight tolerance to prevent oozing.

Q: Does the silicone sleeve come pre-installed?

A: No, the silicone sleeve is included in the package but must be slid onto the heating block manually before installation.
