Solid hardware choice
Used these for assembling furniture. They are strong and the black color blends well with dark wood. Just make sure your driver bit fits the cross slot perfectly.

Good value for bulk projects
Bought these for a fencing project. They hold well in treated lumber. The black finish looks nice, though I wouldn't use them in direct rain exposure long-term.

Great grip and easy installation
These screws have an excellent anti-slip design. The cross and slotted combo makes it easy to use with different drivers. The drill tail penetrates wood smoothly without pre-drilling.

Sharp and durable
The four-tooth tip is very sharp and cuts through material effortlessly. No stripping issues even when driving them in tight spaces. Highly recommend for carpentry work.

Decent but head slots vary
Most of the screws are great, but about 5% had slightly off-center slots which made driving them tricky. Overall okay for the price point.
Q: Is the black coating suitable for outdoor use?
A: The black oxide finish offers moderate corrosion resistance but is best suited for indoor applications. For outdoor use, we suggest applying an additional sealant or choosing stainless steel alternatives.
Q: What size driver bit do I need for the cross slot?
A: A standard PH2 (Phillips #2) driver bit is recommended for the cross portion of the head. The slotted part accommodates a standard flathead screwdriver as well.
Q: Can these screws be used on metal surfaces?
A: They are primarily designed for wood and soft materials. While the drill tail can penetrate thin soft metals, we recommend using self-tapping screws specifically rated for metal for best results.
Q: Are these screws available in different lengths?
A: This specific listing is for the standard length included in the package. We do carry other lengths in our store; please check the related products section or contact us for custom bulk orders.
Q: Do I need to pre-drill holes before using these?
A: Generally, no. The four-tooth drill tail is designed to self-drill into wood and soft materials. However, pre-drilling is advised when working near the edge of hard woods to prevent splitting.
