Great grip, runs slightly narrow
The traction on the track is phenomenal, even in wet conditions. My only note is that they run a bit narrow, so if you have wider feet, consider sizing up half a size. Otherwise, performance is top-tier.

Lightweight and durable
I've put about 50 miles of training and racing on these, and they still feel brand new. The weight is negligible, which helps immensely during the final 50 meters of a race. Best investment I've made this season.

Provincial team quality indeed
Bought these for my daughter who made the provincial team. She says the fit is locked in and the Nitro foam provides excellent shock absorption during hurdles. She shaved 0.3 seconds off her PB immediately.

Solid choice for 400m specialists
The cushioning holds up well over the full lap. Sometimes carbon plates can feel too stiff for the 400, but the air unit here balances it out perfectly. Took one star off because the laces are a bit short.

Fastest spikes I've owned
Transition from heel to toe is seamless. The sonic branding isn't just marketing; these things feel fast. Great for sprint racing and the build quality exceeds the price point.
Q: How does the sizing compare to standard running shoes?
A: These are race-specific spikes and typically fit tighter than daily trainers. We recommend ordering your exact track spike size, or going up half a size if you prefer a slightly less aggressive fit.
Q: Can the carbon plate be felt through the shoe?
A: The carbon plate is embedded within the NITRO foam midsole, providing a smooth ride. You will feel the propulsion and stiffness during toe-off, but it is not uncomfortable or尖锐 under normal use.
Q: Do these come with the spikes installed?
A: Yes, the Sonic Cat Nitro AIR Spikes come with a set of 6mm pyramid spikes pre-installed. A spike wrench and an extra set of spikes are included in the box.
Q: Is the air cushion visible from the outside?
A: Yes, the Air Cushion unit is partially visible in the heel area of the midsole, featuring a translucent design that highlights the technology while maintaining structural integrity.
Q: Are these spikes suitable for long jump events?
A: While primarily designed for sprinting, the 6-pin configuration offers good traction for the approach run in long jump. However, dedicated jumping spikes may offer better heel cushioning for takeoff.
