Great quality, slightly loud
The build quality is excellent and it sharpens pencils to a perfect point every time. The only downside is that the grinding sound is a bit louder than expected, but it's not a dealbreaker.

Best manual sharpener we've owned
We have tried several hand-crank sharpeners, and this Deli model is by far the smoothest. The gears engage perfectly, and it creates a very consistent point. Great purchase.

Good value for money
Does exactly what it says. The shavings container is easy to see when it's full and simple to empty. Took off one star because the crank handle feels a tiny bit flimsy, but it works fine so far.

Sturdy and reliable
Very impressed with how well this works without batteries or electricity. The suction cups on the bottom keep it firmly planted on the desk while cranking. Highly recommend for elementary kids.

No more broken tips!
I bought this for my classroom and it has held up wonderfully against daily use by 20 students. The auto-stop feature prevents over-sharpening, saving us a lot of wasted pencil.
Q: How do I fix it if the crank gets stuck?
A: If the crank feels stuck, please check if the shavings bin is overfull or if a large chunk of wood is jammed in the blade area. Empty the bin and gently clear any debris. Do not force the crank.
Q: Does it fit jumbo pencils?
A: No, this model is optimized for standard diameter pencils (approximately 7-8mm). Jumbo or oversized pencils will not fit into the automatic feed slot.
Q: Can the shavings tray be washed with water?
A: Yes, the transparent shavings container is detachable and can be rinsed with water. Please ensure it is completely dry before reattaching it to the main unit to prevent rust on internal metal parts.
Q: Will this work with colored pencils?
A: This sharpener is designed primarily for standard wooden #2 graphite pencils. While it may work with some standard-sized colored pencils, softer cores might break more easily. We recommend testing with one pencil first.
Q: Is there a warranty included?
A: Yes, all Deli pencil sharpeners come with a standard 1-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Please keep your receipt for any claims.
