Good timer, instructions could be better
The clock works perfectly once you figure out how to set the specific time controls. The manual is a bit small, but there are helpful videos online. Solid build quality.

Excellent for Chinese Chess

Perfect for our local club

Great device, minor casing scratch

Used this in a regional chess tournament without any issues. It feels professional and sturdy. The silent buttons are a nice touch for focused play.

A: While the display is large and clear, this clock does not have audio announcements for the time remaining. It is designed for visual monitoring of the game clock.
Q: Is the button press loud? I play late at night.
A: The YS-385 features mechanical switches designed to be relatively quiet compared to older models. While there is an audible click, it is generally considered acceptable for home use.
Q: Does this clock come with batteries included?
A: No, the Yisheng YS-385 requires 2 AAA batteries which are not included in the package. You will need to purchase them separately.
Q: What happens if the batteries die during a match?
A: The clock has a low-battery indicator that appears on the screen well before the power fails. If power is lost completely, the current game time data may be lost, so we recommend replacing batteries proactively.
