Solid choice for outlining
Very happy with the purchase. The ink dries quickly which prevents smudging when my hand moves across the page. Slightly pricey but worth it for the quality.

True to the Uni Mitsubishi standard
Genuine imported product. The cap seals tightly so the pens don't dry out quickly. The 1.2mm is bold enough for main outlines without looking messy.

Best fineliners for the price
I have tried many brands, but these PIN-200s offer the best balance of durability and line consistency. They handle rough sketching paper very well.

Great quality, wish there were more sizes
The build quality is excellent and the ink flow is perfect. I only gave 4 stars because I wish this specific set included a finer 0.5mm option for details, but the 0.9mm is still great.

Perfect for Manga Inking
These pens are absolutely fantastic for manga work. The 1.0mm tip gives a consistent line width that doesn't fray even after hours of drawing. The black ink is deep and opaque.
Q: What is the shelf life of these pens if unopened?
A: If stored in a cool, dry place with caps sealed tightly, unopened Uni PIN-200 pens typically maintain optimal performance for up to 3 years from the manufacturing date.
Q: Can these be used on fabric?
A: While the ink is permanent on paper, these pens are not specifically formulated for fabric application. We recommend testing on a scrap piece first if you intend to use them on textiles.
Q: Do the tips hold up against rough watercolor paper?
A: The felt tips are durable, but extremely rough textured papers may cause faster wear. They perform best on smooth to medium-tooth illustration boards and marker papers.
Q: Are these pens refillable?
A: No, the Uni PIN-200 series is designed as a disposable fineliner. Once the ink is depleted, the entire pen is replaced to ensure consistent performance.
Q: Is the ink safe for use with alcohol markers?
A: Yes, the pigment ink in the PIN-200 is generally water-resistant and holds up well when alcohol markers are layered over it, provided the ink is fully dry.
