Incredible metal stapling work
The metal stapling on my cracked lid is seamless. I was worried it might leak or affect the taste, but it holds water perfectly and looks like a deliberate design choice. True craftsmanship.

Perfect clay filling match
They matched the clay color almost perfectly for the chip on my pot's base. You have to look closely to even see where the damage was. Professional service from start to finish.

Saved my favorite daily brewer
I use this teapot every single day. The repair has held up through hundreds of brewing cycles with boiling water. It is functional art at its best.

Great result, slightly long wait
The silver wrapping on the handle looks elegant and feels very secure. The only reason for 4 stars is the shipping took a bit longer than expected, but the quality of the restoration makes up for it.

Brought my heirloom back to life
I thought my grandmother's Yixing teapot was lost forever after the spout snapped off. The Kintsugi repair is not only sturdy but adds a beautiful golden vein that tells a new story. Highly recommended for sentimental pieces.
Q: How should I pack my teapot for shipping to you?
A: Please wrap each piece individually in bubble wrap, place them in a box with ample padding so nothing shifts, and then place that box inside a larger shipping box with more cushioning material.
Q: Do you offer a choice between gold Kintsugi and silver wrapping?
A: Yes, during the consultation phase, you can choose your preferred aesthetic. We offer traditional gold lacquer Kintsugi, platinum finishes, or various metal stapling and wrapping options.
Q: Is the repaired teapot safe to use with boiling water?
A: Yes, once the curing process is complete, all materials used including the lacquer, metal staples, and clay fillers are heat resistant and safe for brewing tea with boiling water.
Q: Will the repair affect the flavor of the tea?
A: No, our materials are non-toxic and inert once cured. Many customers report no change in the flavor profile of their tea after restoration.
Q: Can you repair a completely detached handle?
A: Absolutely. We frequently reattach detached handles using a combination of internal pinning and external metal stapling or silver wrapping to ensure maximum durability.
