Perfect addition to my tea set
This lid rest is exactly what I needed for my morning Gongfu tea sessions. The minimalist design fits perfectly with my existing set, and the weight feels substantial without being too heavy.

Elegant and functional
I love the matte finish. It prevents my hot lid from sliding off, which was a constant issue before. It looks beautiful on my tea tray and elevates the whole ceremony experience.

Simple yet effective
Does exactly what it says. No frills, just a solid piece of ceramic that holds the lid safely. The color matches my Zisha pot perfectly.

Must-have for Gongfu brewing
If you brew tea using the Gongfu method, you need one of these. It keeps the table clean and the lid safe. The Japanese minimalist aesthetic is a nice touch.

Great quality, slightly smaller than expected
The craftsmanship is excellent, and the clay feels authentic. It works well for my smaller gaiwan, though it might be a bit tight for larger teapot lids. Still very happy with the purchase.
Q: Will this fit a standard 100ml Gaiwan lid?
A: Yes, the dimensions are designed to accommodate standard Gaiwan lids ranging from 80ml to 120ml comfortably.
Q: Can I use this for metal teapots as well?
A: Absolutely. While designed for ceramic and clay, the stable base works perfectly for metal teapot lids as long as the size is compatible.
Q: Does it come with a box for gifting?
A: Yes, each lid rest comes in a sturdy, elegant gift box suitable for presenting to friends or family.
Q: What is the difference between this and a tea pet?
A: A tea pet is a figurine meant to be nurtured with tea spills for good luck, whereas this is a functional stand specifically shaped to hold a hot teapot or Gaiwan lid securely.
Q: Is this dishwasher safe?
A: We recommend hand rinsing with warm water only. Dishwashers may damage the natural clay finish over time.
