Sturdy and functional

A: There may be a mild, natural wood aroma when you first open the package, but it is not overpowering and will fade quickly after a few uses.

Q: Can I use soap to clean this?

A: We advise against using harsh detergents or soaps as they can strip the natural oils and affect the retro finish. A rinse with warm water and a soft cloth is sufficient.

Q: What are the exact internal dimensions?

A: The internal dimensions are approximately 22cm in length, 16cm in width, and 10cm in depth, allowing for ample space for tea dregs and wash water.

Q: Does it come with a drain or spout?

A: No, this traditional style vessel does not have a built-in spout. It is designed to be lifted and poured manually when full.

Q: Is this vessel waterproof or does it need a liner?

A: The vessel is treated to be water-resistant for normal tea ceremony use, but we recommend emptying it after each session and not leaving water standing in it for days to preserve the wood finish.
