Great for fusion projects
I bought the 17cm pair for my world-fusion band. They cut through the mix beautifully. Took a few days to break them in properly.

Excellent craftsmanship
The hand-hammered marks are visible and add to the aesthetic. The sound is complex with a long decay, perfect for dramatic accents.

Very loud
Quality is good, but be warned these are extremely loud and bright. Not suitable for quiet studio recording without heavy dampening.

Perfect replacement set
Replaced my old worn-out Beijing cymbals with these Seagull ones. The tonal consistency between the pair is impressive.

Good value splash
Using the 15cm as a splash cymbal in my jazz kit. It has a unique trashy character that standard bronze splashes don't have.

Authentic Beijing Sound
These cymbals produce exactly the sharp, piercing crash needed for traditional Chinese percussion pieces. The resonance is incredible for the price point.
Q: What is the difference between the 15cm and 19cm models?
A: The 15cm model offers a higher pitch and faster decay, ideal for quick splashes, while the 19cm provides a lower pitch with a longer, more resonant sustain.
Q: Can these be used for western drum kits?
A: Yes, many drummers use them as effect cymbals or splashes in western kits to add unique tonal colors and cutting power.
Q: Do they come with cymbal bags?
A: They include a protective cloth wrap, but a hard-shell case or padded gig bag is recommended for transport and is sold separately.
Q: Is the bronze alloy lead-free?
A: Yes, our Resonant Bronze Alloy is formulated to be safe and free from hazardous materials like lead.
Q: Are these cymbals sold individually or as a pair?
A: These Seagull Resonant Bronze Cymbals are sold as a matched pair.
