Not for everyone
If you are looking for a clean, polished pop sound, this isn't it. These are dirty, gritty, and wild. I love them for specific tracks, but they dominate the mix.

Beautiful craftsmanship
The hammering marks are distinct and beautiful. The 19cm version has a washy explosion that lasts forever. Highly recommended for experimental drummers.

Unique texture and tone
You can tell these are handmade. Every strike feels different. The complex overtones add a layer of depth to my kit that factory cymbals just don't have.

Authentic Traditional Sound
These cymbals have an incredible raw character. The black finish looks stunning on stage, and the cut is exactly what I needed for my fusion projects.

Reminds me of home
I bought these for a traditional performance group. The sound is authentic to the old Beijing style. Excellent quality copper and sturdy construction.

Great splash, very loud
The 15cm size is perfect for quick accents. Be warned, they are much louder than modern western splash cymbals, which is expected for this style.
Q: Are these suitable for a beginner drum set?
A: They can be used by beginners, but please note they are very loud and have a specialized traditional sound that differs from standard school band cymbals.
Q: Can these be used for outdoor performances?
A: Yes, they are durable and suitable for outdoor use. However, due to their high volume and piercing nature, they project very well in open spaces.
Q: Do these cymbals come with a protective case?
A: No, these cymbals are shipped securely wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard, but a dedicated carrying case is not included.
Q: What is the difference between the 15cm and 19cm models?
A: The 15cm offers a quicker, higher-pitched splash with faster decay, while the 19cm provides a fuller body, lower pitch, and significantly longer sustain.
Q: Is the black coating prone to chipping?
A: The black oxide finish is integral to the metal treatment process. While heavy stick impact may show wear over time, it does not chip like paint.
