Clean look, excellent build
The matte black finish resists fingerprints well. The spikes at the bottom are great for carpet, and rubber pads are included for hardwood floors. The attention to detail in the design is impressive.

Sturdy but heavy
These are very well made, which means they are quite heavy. Moving them around after assembly is a two-person job. However, that weight contributes to their stability, so it's a trade-off I'm willing to accept for the sound quality improvement.

Best stands in this price range
I've tried plastic and cheaper metal stands before, and these blow them away. The all-metal construction feels premium. The cable routing inside the pole is smooth and easy to use. Worth every penny.

Rock solid and looks great

Great value, minor assembly quirks
The finish is beautiful and matches my home theater setup perfectly. Assembly took about 20 minutes per stand. One of the screw holes was slightly misaligned, but I managed to get it together without issues. Very happy with the purchase overall.

A: Yes, the internal diameter of the column is sufficient to pass standard speaker wire with banana plugs attached. You may need to angle them slightly when feeding them through the ports.
Q: Do I need to buy sand separately to fill the bases?
A: Yes, sand is not included in the package. You can purchase inexpensive play sand or silica sand at any local hardware store to fill the base compartments for added mass.
Q: Are the top plates compatible with speakers that have threaded mounting inserts?
A: The top plate features pre-drilled holes that align with standard 1/4-20 threaded inserts found on many bookshelf speakers. Adhesive rubber pads are also provided for speakers without mounting points.
Q: Can these stands be used on thick carpet?
A: Yes, the stands come with removable spikes specifically designed to penetrate thick carpeting for maximum stability. Rubber feet are also included if you prefer to use them on hard surfaces.
