Great value for money

Perfect for heavy duty projects!

Good machine, confusing manual

The sewing quality is excellent and it handles thick fabric well as advertised. However, the instruction manual could be clearer regarding the threading path for the overlock function.

Best upgrade I've made

Upgraded from a basic mechanical model. The electric foot control gives such precise speed management. I love the variety of decorative stitches available on this Butterfly model.

A: The standard package includes a set of essential presser feet. While a walking foot is highly recommended for extremely thick or slippery fabrics, it is sold separately for this specific series. However, the machine's feed dogs are strong enough to handle most thick fabrics without one.

Q: Is the foot pedal speed adjustable?

A: Yes, the machine features a variable speed foot pedal. The harder you press, the faster the machine sews, allowing for complete control from very slow precision stitching to high-speed straight seams.

Q: Does the overlock function replace a separate serger machine?

A: While the built-in overlock stitch provides a finished edge similar to a serger for many household projects, it does not trim the fabric edge automatically like a dedicated serger. You may need to trim edges manually before stitching for the cleanest finish.
