Great value for money
Solid machine for the price. It took me a little while to figure out the tension settings for the overlock stitch, but once dialed in, it works beautifully. Very quiet operation.

Perfect for heavy duty projects!

Good machine, confusing manual
The sewing quality is excellent and it handles thick fabric well as advertised. However, the instruction manual could be clearer regarding the threading path for the overlock function.

Impressive thick fabric capability
Bought this specifically to sew canvas bags. It handles the thickness without stalling. Only giving 4 stars because the light could be a bit brighter for detailed work.

Best upgrade I've made
Upgraded from a basic mechanical model. The electric foot control gives such precise speed management. I love the variety of decorative stitches available on this Butterfly model.

A: The standard package includes a set of essential presser feet. While a walking foot is highly recommended for extremely thick or slippery fabrics, it is sold separately for this specific series. However, the machine's feed dogs are strong enough to handle most thick fabrics without one.

A: Yes, the machine features a variable speed foot pedal. The harder you press, the faster the machine sews, allowing for complete control from very slow precision stitching to high-speed straight seams.
