Good accuracy, easy to integrate
Integrated this into a smart home dashboard without issues. The library support for Arduino is excellent. Only giving 4 stars because the pin headers were slightly loose on one unit, but soldering fixed it.

Solid sensor for beginners

Reliable replacement for SHT20
Needed a cost-effective alternative to the SHT20 for a batch of prototypes. The AHT10 delivers comparable performance. Data sheets are accurate, and sampling rate is sufficient for most applications.

Fast shipping and great product
Arrived well-packaged. Tested immediately upon arrival, and the humidity response time is impressive. It picks up changes in the room environment almost instantly.
Q: Can I use this with a 5V Arduino Uno directly?
A: The AHT10 operates between 1.8V and 3.6V. While many users connect it directly to 5V boards successfully, we recommend using a logic level converter or running the Arduino at 3.3V for optimal longevity and stability.
Q: Does this module come with pull-up resistors for the I2C lines?
A: Yes, the module includes onboard 4.7kΩ pull-up resistors for both SDA and SCL lines, making it ready to use without external components.
Q: What is the default I2C address for this sensor?
A: The default I2C address for the AHT10 is 0x38. This cannot be changed via software as it is hardwired in the chip design.
Q: Is there a waterproof coating on the sensor element?
A: The sensor element has a standard protective mesh suitable for general indoor humidity monitoring. It is not fully waterproof and should not be submerged or exposed to direct water jets.
Q: Do you provide sample code for Raspberry Pi Python?
A: Yes, we provide example Python scripts for Raspberry Pi on our GitHub repository linked in the product manual. It uses the standard smbus2 library.
