Best IMU in this price range
Switched from a more expensive brand to this WitMotion module and honestly can't tell the difference in performance. The barometer adds a nice touch for altitude hold features. Will buy again.

Great hardware, software could be better
The hardware quality is top-notch and the readings are very accurate. The Windows software is a bit dated, but since most of us code in Python or C++, it doesn't matter much. Highly recommend for developers.

Reliable and robust

Excellent precision for robotics projects
I used this sensor for a self-balancing robot and the angle data is incredibly stable. The fusion algorithm inside the module works great out of the box. Setup with Arduino was straightforward using the provided library.

Good value, minor calibration needed
The sensor provides smooth data for my custom drone flight controller. Had to spend some time calibrating the magnetometer due to nearby metal components, but once done, the heading lock is solid. Great price point.

Perfect for university projects

A: Absolutely. You can configure the output frequency from 1Hz up to 200Hz using our configuration software or by sending specific UART commands.
Q: What is the operating temperature range?
A: The JY901B operates reliably between -40°C and +85°C, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
Q: How do I calibrate the magnetometer?
A: You can perform an 8-figure motion calibration using our PC software. Detailed instructions are found in Chapter 4 of the user manual included in the download section.
