Easy to wire and configure
As someone new to photoelectric sensors, I found the wiring diagram very clear. The selectable NPN/PNP output is a great feature that saved me from buying extra relays. Highly recommended for beginners.

Good range, sturdy build
I am using this to monitor motor speed on a DIY lathe. The detection range is impressive, reaching about 15 meters in my workshop tests. The only reason for 4 stars is that the mounting holes could be slightly larger.
Q: Can I use this outdoors in the rain?
A: This module has basic dust and splash resistance but is not fully waterproof (IP67). For outdoor use in heavy rain, we recommend installing it inside a protective enclosure.
Q: What is the maximum current rating for the output?
A: The output transistor can handle a maximum load current of 100mA. If you need to drive a higher load, please use an external relay or contactor.
Q: Is the cable detachable or hardwired?
A: The cable is hardwired to the module housing to ensure a secure connection and better environmental protection. The cable length is 2 meters.
Q: Can this sensor detect transparent objects like glass bottles?
A: While through-beam sensors are generally good at detecting transparent objects, performance depends on the thickness and clarity of the material. For standard glass bottles, it usually works well, but we recommend testing with your specific item.
Q: Does this come with a receiver and transmitter pair?
A: Yes, this package includes both the emitter (transmitter) and the receiver units required for a complete through-beam setup.
