Robust housing design
I needed something that could withstand a damp basement environment. This module's vented housing allows air flow while keeping direct water out. Highly recommended.

Good value, accurate readings
Compared it against a calibrated meter and the readings were very close. The only reason for 4 stars is that the wires are a bit thin, so handle them carefully during installation.

Solid industrial sensor
Using these in several small server rooms. They are reliable and the response time is quick enough for our monitoring needs. Wish the cable was slightly longer.

Easy to integrate
As a beginner, I appreciated the clear labeling on the wires. The voltage output scales linearly, making the code conversion straightforward.
Q: Are the wire colors standard for VCC, GND, and Signal?
A: Yes, typically Red is VCC (5V), Black is GND, and Yellow/White is the Signal output. However, please verify with the included datasheet as batches may vary slightly.
Q: Can this sensor be used outdoors directly in the rain?
A: The housing is water-resistant but not fully waterproof (IP65 rated at best). We recommend installing it under an eave or in a protective box if exposed to direct heavy rain.
Q: How do I calibrate the sensor if the reading seems off?
A: The sensor comes factory calibrated. For minor adjustments, you can apply an offset in your software code. There are no physical trim pots on this module.
Q: Does this module support digital output like I2C or UART?
A: No, the WHTM-03 model specifically provides an analog 0-5V voltage output only. If you need digital communication, please check our WHTM-Digital series.
Q: What is the current draw of this module?
A: The typical current consumption is less than 10mA at 5V, making it suitable for battery-powered applications with sleep modes.
