Perfect for my greenhouse project

Easy to integrate
As a beginner, I appreciated the clear labeling on the wires. The voltage output scales linearly, making the code conversion straightforward.
Q: Are the wire colors standard for VCC, GND, and Signal?
A: Yes, typically Red is VCC (5V), Black is GND, and Yellow/White is the Signal output. However, please verify with the included datasheet as batches may vary slightly.
Q: Can this sensor be used outdoors directly in the rain?
A: The housing is water-resistant but not fully waterproof (IP65 rated at best). We recommend installing it under an eave or in a protective box if exposed to direct heavy rain.
Q: How do I calibrate the sensor if the reading seems off?
A: The sensor comes factory calibrated. For minor adjustments, you can apply an offset in your software code. There are no physical trim pots on this module.
Q: Does this module support digital output like I2C or UART?
A: No, the WHTM-03 model specifically provides an analog 0-5V voltage output only. If you need digital communication, please check our WHTM-Digital series.
Q: What is the current draw of this module?
A: The typical current consumption is less than 10mA at 5V, making it suitable for battery-powered applications with sleep modes.
