Perfect for my rainwater tank
This module works exactly as described. I set it up to automatically fill my garden rainwater tank when the level gets low. The wiring was straightforward with the clear labels on the board. Very reliable so far.

Solid build quality
The PCB looks well-made with good soldering points. The screw terminals hold the wires securely. I deducted one star because the probe wires included were a bit short for my deep well application, but I extended them easily.

Good value, instructions could be better
The sensor itself is robust and the relay clicks loudly which confirms it's working. My only issue was the lack of a detailed manual in English, but I found a diagram online that helped. Works great for my aquarium sump.

Compact and effective

Saved my basement from flooding

Easy DIY project
I'm not an electrician, but this was easy to install for my hydroponic setup. The automatic switching prevents the pump from running dry. It has been running 24/7 for two weeks without any issues.
Q: Does this come with the metal probes included?
A: Yes, the package includes the circuit board and a set of three conductive probe wires. You will need to mount these probes at your desired high, low, and common levels inside your tank.
Q: What is the maximum wattage of the pump I can connect directly?
A: The onboard relay is rated for 10A. At 12V, this equals roughly 120W. For higher power pumps, we strongly recommend using this module to trigger an external contactor or a larger relay to avoid damaging the board.
Q: Can this module handle saltwater in a marine aquarium?
A: Yes, the conductive probes work with saltwater. However, please ensure the probes are made of corrosion-resistant material (like titanium or stainless steel) as standard copper wires may corrode over time in high-salinity environments.
Q: Can I use this to drain a tank instead of filling it?
A: Absolutely. By swapping the connections for the high and low-level probes, you can configure the module to activate the pump when the water is high and turn it off when the water is low, effectively automating drainage.
Q: Is there a delay feature to prevent rapid cycling if the water level fluctuates?
A: This specific model operates based on immediate conductivity detection without a built-in time delay. If your water surface is very turbulent, we suggest adding a small capacitor across the input or using a physical baffle around the probes to stabilize readings.
