Robust and reliable

Works well but cable is short
The detection accuracy is good for murky water, but I wish the probe cable was a bit longer for larger tanks. Had to extend it myself.

Good sensitivity, needs calibration
The sensor is quite sensitive to changes in water clarity. You definitely need to calibrate it with known samples for accurate NTU values, but for relative measurements, it is excellent.

Great for university projects
Used this for my final year environmental engineering project. It interfaced perfectly with my Arduino Uno. The digital output threshold is adjustable via the potentiometer.

Perfect for my hydroponics project
This sensor module worked straight out of the box. The included code made calibration very easy, and the analog readings are stable. Great value for the price.

Easy to program
As someone new to sensors, I found the provided library and example code very helpful. It got me up and running in less than an hour.
Q: Can I get the source code if I lose the SD card?
A: Absolutely. The code is open source and can be downloaded directly from our GitHub repository linked in the product manual PDF.
Q: Does this work with Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, it works with Raspberry Pi. However, since the Pi uses 3.3V logic and the sensor outputs 5V, you may need a voltage divider or an ADC hat for the analog pin.
Q: What is the accuracy in NTU?
A: This is a cost-effective module intended for relative turbidity measurement. While it correlates well with NTU, for laboratory-grade precision, professional calibrated instruments are recommended.
Q: How often does the probe need cleaning?
A: For best results, we recommend wiping the optical lens of the probe with a soft cloth once a week if used continuously in dirty water to prevent biofilm buildup.
Q: Is this sensor waterproof?
A: The probe head is designed for immersion in water, but the electronic circuit board and connector are not waterproof. Please ensure only the probe is submerged.
