A: The load cell is a passive analog device. You will need a signal conditioner or amplifier to interface it with a 24V PLC input module.

Q: Can this load cell be used with dynamic loads like swinging cargo?

A: Yes, the sensor is designed with damping characteristics to handle dynamic loads typical in crane operations, though we recommend averaging the signal in your controller for the most stable readout.

Q: How often does this sensor require recalibration?

A: We recommend annual recalibration for standard industrial use, or immediately if the sensor has been subjected to an overload event exceeding its safe limit.
