Easy to integrate
As a beginner, I was worried about wiring these up, but the labels on the PCB are clear. Found plenty of example code online that worked immediately.

Exceeded expectations
Very stable signal output. I tested all five units in the pack and they were consistent. Great for replacing mechanical buttons where durability is a concern.

Solid performance
Works well through glass and thin plastic. The blue LED is bright enough to see status but not blinding. Would buy again for future robot interfaces.

Good value, sensitive touch
Great little modules for the price. They are quite sensitive, which is good, but you need to calibrate your code slightly if you have thick overlay materials. Overall very happy.

Reliable and Compact
I used these for a home automation light switch prototype. The form factor is tiny, fitting easily behind panels. No false triggers detected so far.

Perfect for DIY Projects
These sensors work flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The momentary mode is exactly what I needed for a custom keyboard project. Very responsive and easy to solder.
Q: Can this sensor detect touch through a 3mm acrylic sheet?
A: Yes, the capacitive sensor can typically detect touch through non-conductive materials like acrylic, glass, or plastic up to 3-5mm thick, depending on the sensitivity calibration in your code.
Q: Is the output latching or momentary by default?
A: This specific model is configured for momentary operation by default. The output goes high only while the touch is detected and returns low immediately upon release.
Q: Are these compatible with 3.3V logic levels like ESP8266?
A: Absolutely. The module operates within a 3.3V to 5V range, making it fully compatible with 3.3V microcontrollers such as the ESP8266, ESP32, and 3.3V Arduino variants.
Q: What is the current consumption of the module?
A: The module consumes approximately 10mA when active with the LED on. If you desolder the status LED, power consumption drops significantly for battery-powered applications.
Q: Do you provide sample code for Raspberry Pi GPIO?
A: Yes, we have Python sample scripts available on our GitHub repository specifically for Raspberry Pi GPIO integration. Please check the product manual for the link.
