Great value, minor wiring confusion

The module itself is excellent and reads colors quickly. I deducted one star because the pinout diagram on the back was slightly faint, but once connected, it performed exactly as expected.

Compact and powerful

The form factor is small enough to fit into tight spaces in my robot chassis. The color detection speed is fast enough for real-time applications. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Exceeded expectations

For the price, you cannot beat this sensor. It distinguishes between similar shades of blue and green which my previous cheaper sensor could not do. The clear channel data is also very useful.

Good for learning

As a beginner, I found plenty of tutorials online to get this running. It's a great way to learn about I2C protocols. Just make sure you have pull-up resistors if your board doesn't include them.

Perfect for robotics projects
