Good value for high-precision needs
Compared to other S-type cells with digital output, this offers great value. The USB module simplifies testing without needing external amplifiers.

Great precision, minor documentation gaps
The sensor itself is extremely accurate and stable under load. The only reason for 4 stars is that the register map documentation could be more detailed for advanced users.
Q: Can this measure both tension and compression simultaneously?
A: The sensor can measure both tension and compression forces, but it measures the net force applied at any given moment, not both simultaneously in opposite directions.
Q: Does this come with the necessary drivers for Windows 10?
A: Yes, the package includes a USB-to-RS485 converter that uses standard CH340 or FT232 drivers, which are automatically recognized by Windows 10 and 11.
Q: Is the calibration certificate included in the box?
A: A standard factory calibration report is included with every unit. If you require an accredited third-party calibration certificate, it can be requested as an add-on service.
Q: What is the maximum cable length supported for RS485 communication?
A: The RS485 protocol supports cable lengths up to 1200 meters depending on the baud rate and cable quality. We recommend using shielded twisted pair cables for best results.
Q: Can I use this sensor for dynamic weighing applications?
A: While it is high-precision, it is primarily designed for static or slow-changing loads. For high-speed dynamic weighing, please contact us for a specific model recommendation.
