Reliable industrial grade feel
Despite the low cost, the build quality feels robust. The terminals are secure, and the PCB coating looks decent. No issues after a month of continuous operation.

Essential for off-grid monitoring
Using this to monitor my inverter output voltage. The isolation gives me peace of mind when connecting to low-voltage logic circuits. Highly recommended.

Great for university projects
Bought this for my final year project on smart grids. It integrates well with Raspberry Pi via an external ADC. Documentation could be slightly better, but easy to figure out.

Perfect for my home energy monitor
This module works exactly as described. The linear output makes it very easy to interface with my Arduino ADC. Isolation is solid, and the readings are stable.

Good value, minor calibration needed
Great little sensor for the price. I had to do a quick software calibration to get it spot-on with my multimeter, but once set up, it's been reliable for weeks.
Q: Can this module handle DC voltage inputs?
A: No, this module is designed specifically for Single-Phase AC voltage sensing only. Applying DC voltage may damage the unit or provide incorrect readings.
Q: Is the 0-5V output ratiometric to the supply voltage?
A: The output is referenced to the module's internal precision reference, making it stable even if your logic supply fluctuates slightly, provided it stays within operating limits.
Q: Can I use this for 3-phase systems?
A: This unit is for single-phase applications. To monitor a 3-phase system, you would need to purchase three separate modules, one for each phase.
Q: Does the output require any filtering before reading with a microcontroller?
A: While the output is relatively clean, we recommend adding a simple RC low-pass filter or using software averaging if you are experiencing noise in your specific environment.
Q: What is the maximum current this sensor can measure?
A: This is a voltage sensor module, not a current sensor. It measures voltage potential up to 250V AC. For current measurement, please look at our CT (Current Transformer) modules.
