A: The sensor can withstand a safe overload of 150% of the rated capacity (R.C.) and an ultimate overload of 300% R.C. without permanent deformation, though calibration may need verification after extreme events.
Q: Is the cable length customizable for deep silo installations?
A: The standard unit comes with a 5-meter cable. However, we offer customization services where the cable can be extended up to 50 meters upon request at the time of order.
Q: Can this be used for dynamic weighing on fast-moving conveyor belts?
A: Yes, the high sampling rate and digital filtering make it suitable for dynamic weighing applications like belt scales, provided the mechanical installation minimizes vibration transfer.
Q: Do you provide a USB-to-RS485 converter for testing?
A: We do not include the converter in the box, but we sell a compatible USB-to-RS485 adapter separately. Alternatively, any standard industrial RS485 interface will work for configuration and testing.
