Perfect for my greenhouse project
This module worked exactly as described. The temperature threshold is easy to adjust with the blue potentiometer, and the relay clicks reliably when the set point is reached. Great value for the price.

Great for learning embedded systems

Good quality, clear instructions needed
The hardware is solid and the soldering is clean. However, I had to look up a tutorial to understand the pinout clearly. Once connected to my Arduino, it functioned flawlessly for controlling a cooling fan.
Q: What is the response time of the sensor?
A: The NTC thermistor typically responds within a few seconds depending on the medium (air vs liquid) and the mass of the object being measured.
Q: Can this module directly control a 12V DC fan?
A: Yes, the relay supports up to 10A at 30VDC, so it can easily switch a standard 12V DC fan on and off based on the temperature setting.
Q: How do I change the trigger temperature?
A: There is a blue potentiometer on the board. Use a small screwdriver to rotate it clockwise or counter-clockwise while monitoring the LED to set your desired trigger point.
Q: Is the thermistor waterproof?
A: The thermistor probe itself has some protection, but it is not fully waterproof for submersion. We recommend using a waterproof casing if using it in humid or wet environments.
Q: Does this come with jumper wires?
A: The package includes the module and the sensor probe, but jumper wires are not included. You will need to provide your own Dupont wires for connection.
