Compact and effective
Small form factor fits perfectly in tight spaces. The only minor issue is that the LED indicator is quite bright at night, but a piece of tape solved that easily.

Perfect for my Arduino robot car
This sensor module worked flawlessly out of the box. The sensitivity adjustment potentiometer makes it very easy to calibrate for different lighting conditions in my smart car project.

Reliable light detection
I used this for an automatic night light project. It detects dusk accurately and the digital output is clean without any bouncing issues. Highly recommended for beginners.

Good value, clear instructions needed
The hardware quality is solid and the response time is quick. I deducted one star because it would be nice to have a printed guide on how to wire it specifically for 3.3V systems.

Great for photoelectric switches
Exactly what I needed for a custom photoelectric switch setup. The threshold adjustment is smooth and holds its setting well even after vibration testing.

Bulk purchase success
Bought ten of these for our school robotics club. Every single unit functioned correctly. The mounting holes are well-placed for standard chassis setups.
Q: Can this module be directly connected to a Raspberry Pi GPIO pin?
A: Yes, as long as you configure the input voltage to 3.3V. The digital output is TTL compatible, making it safe for Raspberry Pi usage.
Q: Is the output analog or digital?
A: This specific module provides a digital switching output (High/Low). If you require analog values representing exact light levels, please check our analog LDR sensor variants.
Q: Does this come with jumper wires?
A: The package typically includes the PCB module only. Jumper wires are sold separately, but standard 2.54mm pitch headers are used for easy connection.
Q: How do I adjust the sensitivity?
A: There is a blue potentiometer on the board. Rotate it clockwise to increase sensitivity (trigger in brighter light) or counter-clockwise to decrease it (trigger only in darker conditions).
Q: What is the range of light intensity this sensor can detect?
A: The LDR component reacts to visible light changes. While it does not provide a specific Lux value without calibration, it effectively distinguishes between dark, dim, and bright environments for switching purposes.
