Perfect for prototyping acoustic sensors
This kit made it incredibly easy to set up a piezoelectric microphone. The shielded wire really helps reduce noise, and the charge amplifier module works flawlessly right out of the box.

Good integration with Arduino

Great value for research projects
Bought this for a university project on vibration monitoring. The film is very flexible and sensitive. Only giving 4 stars because the soldering pads are quite small, requiring a steady hand.
Q: Can this sensor detect underwater pressure changes?
A: While PVDF film is inherently resistant to moisture, this specific kit is not IP-rated for submersion. It is designed for air-based applications like vibration, impact, and acoustic sensing.
Q: Does this kit come with a power supply?
A: No, the kit includes the sensor film, shielded wire, and the charge amplifier module. You will need to provide a suitable DC power source (typically 3.3V or 5V) depending on your specific circuit design.
Q: What is the maximum frequency response of the LDT0-028K?
A: The PVDF film itself has a very wide frequency response, often extending into the MHz range. However, the overall system bandwidth will depend on the configuration of the external charge amplifier circuit you build or use.
Q: Is the shielded wire pre-soldered to the film?
